However, alongside the benefits, concerns have been raised about the potential negative impact of social media use on mental health, particularly in the context of mental health awareness among young adults. This thesis explores the intricate relationship between social media and mental health awareness in young adults, aiming to provide a comprehensive analysis of the various factors at play. Chapter 1 delves into the introduction of the study, providing a background of the research topic and outlining the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms.
