Social media has become an integral part of modern society, with millions of users engaging and interacting on various platforms daily. This research project investigates the impact of social media on mental health awareness and support. The study aims to explore how social media platforms are utilized to raise awareness about mental health issues, provide support to individuals in need, and potentially influence mental health outcomes. The research begins with an introduction that sets the context for the study, followed by a detailed background of the subject matter. The problem statement highlights the gap in understanding the specific ways in which social media affects mental health awareness and support. The objectives of the study are to analyze the role of social media in promoting mental health awareness, examine the effectiveness of online support communities, and assess the potential benefits and limitations of utilizing social media for mental health advocacy. The study acknowledges the limitations inherent in analyzing social media data, such as the potential for bias and the lack of control over information dissemination.
