The demand for sustainable and effective food packaging materials has been steadily increasing in recent years due to growing environmental concerns and the need for extending the shelf life of food products. This thesis focuses on the development of a novel food packaging material with enhanced sustainability and food preservation properties. The objective of this study is to investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of utilizing innovative materials and techniques to create a packaging solution that not only reduces environmental impact but also enhances the quality and safety of packaged food products. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms.
