Micronutrient deficiencies, also known as hidden hunger, pose a significant public health challenge globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Fortified beverages have emerged as a promising strategy to address this issue by delivering essential vitamins and minerals in a convenient and accessible form. This project aims to develop fortified beverages tailored to the nutritional needs of specific target populations, focusing on micronutrients such as iron, vitamin A, vitamin D, and zinc. Through a combination of formulation optimization, sensory evaluation, and nutritional analysis, this study seeks to create fortified beverages that are palatable, affordable, and effective in combating micronutrient deficiencies.
