This thesis investigates the impact of color theory on visual communication in graphic design, aiming to provide insights into how color choices can enhance or hinder the effectiveness of visual communication strategies. The study delves into the theoretical foundations of color theory and its practical applications in graphic design, exploring how different colors, combinations, and palettes can evoke specific emotions, convey meanings, and create visual hierarchy. Through a comprehensive literature review, ten key themes related to color theory and visual communication in graphic design are identified and analyzed. The research methodology employed in this study involves a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather and analyze data. The methodology chapter outlines the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures used to examine the impact of color theory on visual communication in graphic design.
