This thesis delves into the dynamic and innovative realm of contemporary sculpture, focusing on the convergence of traditional craftsmanship and digital technologies. The exploration of this intersection aims to uncover the evolving landscape of sculptural practices, where traditional techniques are reimagined and enhanced through the integration of digital tools and processes. Through a comprehensive analysis of both historical precedents and current trends in the field, this study seeks to elucidate the ways in which artists are embracing technology to push the boundaries of sculptural expression. The research begins with a thorough examination of the historical background of sculpture, tracing the evolution of traditional techniques and materials through different artistic movements and periods. This historical context serves as a foundation for understanding how contemporary sculptors are building upon and challenging these established practices. By investigating the ways in which digital technologies have been incorporated into sculptural processes, this study aims to highlight the innovative approaches and aesthetic possibilities that emerge from the fusion of traditional and digital techniques.
