The management of properties in urban areas presents unique challenges that require innovative solutions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have emerged as a valuable tool in various fields, including real estate and property management. This thesis examines the utilization of GIS for efficient property management in urban areas. The introduction provides an overview of the research, highlighting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. The literature review explores ten key areas related to GIS applications in property management, highlighting the benefits and challenges associated with its implementation. Chapter three delves into the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures employed in this study. The findings from the research are discussed in chapter four, analyzing how GIS can enhance property management practices, streamline operations, improve decision-making processes, and optimize resource utilization in urban areas.
