Urbanization is a global phenomenon that has significantly altered natural landscapes, impacting wildlife habitats and biodiversity conservation. This thesis aims to investigate the impact of urbanization on wildlife habitats and biodiversity conservation by examining how urban development affects the distribution, abundance, and diversity of wildlife species. The study focuses on understanding the challenges faced by wildlife in urban areas, as well as exploring potential strategies for mitigating the negative effects of urbanization on biodiversity. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. The chapter sets the foundation for the research, highlighting the importance of addressing the impact of urbanization on wildlife habitats and biodiversity conservation.
