This thesis examines the impact of climate change on coastal ecosystems, focusing on the case study of mangrove forests. Mangrove forests are vital coastal ecosystems that provide numerous environmental and socio-economic benefits. However, they are increasingly threatened by the effects of climate change, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and changes in temperature and precipitation patterns. This study aims to assess the specific impacts of climate change on mangrove forests, as well as the implications for biodiversity, ecosystem services, and local communities.
