Abstract
Effective waste management practices are crucial for mitigating environmental pollution and promoting sustainability. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of sustainable waste management practices in reducing environmental pollution. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review to examine existing waste management strategies and their impact on environmental pollution. The study also included field research to collect data on current waste management practices and their environmental consequences. The findings of this study highlight the importance of sustainable waste management practices in reducing environmental pollution. Through the analysis of various waste management strategies such as recycling, composting, and waste-to-energy technologies, this research evaluates their effectiveness in minimizing pollution and promoting environmental sustainability. The results indicate that sustainable waste management practices play a significant role in reducing the environmental impact of waste disposal. Furthermore, this study identifies key challenges and limitations in implementing sustainable waste management practices, including lack of infrastructure, inadequate funding, and limited public awareness. Recommendations are provided to address these challenges and enhance the effectiveness of waste management strategies in reducing environmental pollution. Overall, this research contributes to the ongoing discourse on sustainable waste management and its role in environmental protection. By assessing the effectiveness of various waste management practices, this study provides valuable insights for policymakers, stakeholders, and the general public to promote sustainable waste management practices and mitigate environmental pollution effectively.
