In response, ecosystem restoration techniques have been developed to rehabilitate and enhance degraded urban environments. This thesis aims to assess the effectiveness of ecosystem restoration techniques in urban settings, focusing on their impact on biodiversity, ecosystem services, and community well-being. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys, ecological assessments, and stakeholder interviews to evaluate the outcomes of restoration projects in urban areas. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of the literature on ecosystem restoration, urban ecology, and the challenges associated with urbanization.
