The study delves into a diverse range of literary texts from different African regions and genres to analyze the multifaceted representations of mental health in African literature. The introduction provides an overview of the research topic and its significance in the context of African literary studies. The background of the study contextualizes the exploration of mental health in African literature within the broader field of literary analysis and mental health discourse.
