The research project focuses on investigating the impact of social media on mental health among adolescents. Social media has become an integral part of daily life for many individuals, particularly adolescents who are heavy users of these platforms. The project aims to explore the relationship between social media usage patterns and mental health outcomes such as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, utilizing both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from a sample of adolescents. The quantitative surveys will assess social media usage habits, mental health symptoms, and self-esteem levels, while the qualitative interviews will provide in-depth insights into the experiences and perceptions of adolescents regarding social media and its effects on their mental well-being. Through the analysis of the collected data, the research aims to identify potential correlations between social media usage and mental health outcomes.
