The abstract for the research project is as follows This research project explores the impact of social media on mental health among teenagers. With the rise of social media platforms, teenagers are increasingly exposed to various content that can have both positive and negative effects on their mental well-being. The study aims to investigate how different types of social media activities, such as excessive use, cyberbullying, and comparison with others, can influence the mental health of teenagers. The research will utilize a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. A sample of teenagers aged 13-18 will be recruited to participate in the study, providing insights into their social media usage patterns and mental health status.
