Abstract
This research project focuses on analyzing the impact of social media on mental health among adolescents. In recent years, the increased use of social media platforms has raised concerns about its potential effects on mental well-being, particularly among young people. The study aims to investigate how social media usage patterns, such as frequency of use, types of platforms, and content exposure, may influence various aspects of mental health, including self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and overall psychological well-being. Through a combination of quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, data will be collected from a sample of adolescents to examine their social media habits and mental health status. Statistical analyses will be conducted to identify correlations between different social media behaviors and mental health outcomes. Additionally, thematic analysis will be used to explore the qualitative data and provide deeper insights into the lived experiences of the participants.
