Abstract
This research project aims to investigate the impact of social media usage on mental health among adolescents. With the widespread adoption of social media platforms among young people, concerns have been raised regarding the potential negative effects on mental well-being. The study will explore how various aspects of social media, such as time spent online, types of content consumed, and interaction patterns, influence the mental health of adolescents. The research will utilize a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from a sample of adolescents aged 13-18. The surveys will assess social media usage patterns, mental health indicators, and perceived effects on well-being.
