Abstract
Financial literacy education has become increasingly important in higher education institutions as students face growing challenges in managing their finances and debts. This study aims to investigate the impact of financial literacy education on student debt management in higher education. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research explores the relationship between financial literacy education and student debt management. The study also examines the current practices and effectiveness of financial literacy programs in higher education institutions. The methodology employed in this study includes a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with students and financial literacy educators. The data collected will be analyzed using statistical methods to identify patterns and correlations between financial literacy education and student debt management outcomes. The findings will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on financial literacy education and its impact on student debt management. The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the effectiveness of financial literacy education programs in equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their finances and debts responsibly. Recommendations for improving financial literacy education in higher education institutions will be proposed based on the research findings. Overall, this research aims to inform policymakers, educators, and students on the importance of financial literacy education in promoting financial well-being and reducing student debt burdens.

Overall, this research seeks to contribute to the existing literature on financial literacy education and student debt management by offering empirical evidence on the effectiveness of such programs in higher education settings.
