Technology integration in education has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, with educators exploring ways to leverage digital tools to enhance student learning. This thesis investigates the impact of technology integration specifically in the field of Economics education in high schools. The study aims to analyze how the incorporation of technology influences teaching and learning practices, student engagement, and academic performance in Economics education. The research methodology employed for this study is a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with Economics teachers and students in high schools. The data collected will be analyzed to identify patterns, trends, and correlations related to the use of technology in Economics education. The literature review in this thesis provides a comprehensive overview of existing research on technology integration in education, with a focus on Economics education at the high school level. It examines the benefits and challenges of using technology in the classroom, as well as best practices for effective implementation. The findings of this study reveal that technology integration has a positive impact on Economics education in high schools. Teachers report increased student engagement, improved understanding of economic concepts, and enhanced critical thinking skills as a result of using technology in their lessons.
