Thesis Abstract

This research project seeks to examine the influence of economic education on students' understanding of environmental economics. Environmental economics encompasses the study of how economic principles and incentives can be applied to environmental issues such as pollution, natural resource management, and climate change. The study will involve assessing students' knowledge of environmental economics before and after receiving specific instruction on the topic. Additionally, the research will explore the attitudes and perceptions of students towards environmental issues and the role of economic incentives in addressing environmental challenges. The findings will contribute to the ongoing discourse on the role of economic education in fostering environmental awareness and sustainable decision-making
