Abstract
Entrepreneurs play a crucial role in driving economic growth and innovation, particularly in the small business sector. To succeed in this dynamic and competitive environment, entrepreneurs need a diverse set of management competences. This study aims to explore the management competences required of business education graduates for small business operations. A mixed-methods approach will be used to collect and analyze data from entrepreneurs and business education graduates. The study will identify key management competences such as leadership, strategic planning, financial management, marketing, and human resource management that are essential for small business success. By understanding the specific competences needed, educational institutions can tailor their programs to better prepare graduates for entrepreneurial endeavors. Additionally, entrepreneurs can use the findings to assess and improve their own competences, leading to enhanced business performance and sustainability. The results of this research will contribute to the existing literature on entrepreneurship education and provide practical insights for educators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs alike.
