Abstract
Acne is a common skin condition that affects individuals of all ages, leading to physical and psychological distress. While there are various treatment options available, there is a growing interest in exploring the use of herbal remedies for acne management due to their perceived natural and potentially effective properties. This comparative study aims to investigate the efficacy of topical herbal remedies in treating acne. The study will involve a comprehensive review of existing literature on herbal remedies for acne, followed by a comparison of the effectiveness of selected herbal remedies in reducing acne symptoms. The research will be conducted using a randomized controlled trial design, with participants assigned to different treatment groups receiving either a specific herbal remedy or a placebo. Acne severity will be assessed using standardized clinical grading scales before and after the treatment period. In addition, participants will be asked to report any changes in their acne symptoms and overall skin condition. Data analysis will involve statistical methods to compare the outcomes between the different treatment groups.
