Abstract
Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to improve access to healthcare services, including dermatology consultations. This thesis investigates the efficacy of telemedicine in dermatology consultations, focusing on its impact on patient outcomes, healthcare delivery, and overall satisfaction. The study explores the benefits and limitations of telemedicine in dermatology, considering factors such as accuracy of diagnosis, treatment effectiveness, patient engagement, and cost-effectiveness. A comprehensive literature review is conducted to examine existing research on telemedicine in dermatology, highlighting key findings and gaps in the current knowledge. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative analysis of patient data and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers and patients. The findings of the study reveal that telemedicine in dermatology consultations offers several advantages, including enhanced access to care, reduced wait times, and convenience for patients. However, challenges such as technological limitations, concerns about data security, and potential for misdiagnosis are also identified.
