This research project investigates the impact of social media on mental health among teenagers. The study aims to explore how the use of social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, influences the mental well-being of adolescents. By conducting surveys and interviews with teenagers, the research seeks to identify the correlation between social media usage patterns and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the complex relationship between social media and mental health in adolescents. Understanding the ways in which social media affects teenagers' psychological well-being is crucial for developing effective interventions and strategies to promote positive mental health outcomes in this population. By examining the various factors that contribute to both positive and negative mental health outcomes associated with social media use, this research aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse on the role of technology in shaping the mental health of young people. Overall, this research project seeks to shed light on the multifaceted impact of social media on teenagers' mental health and well-being.
