Abstract
The increasing demand for renewable energy sources has led to a growing interest in solar power generation. This research project focuses on the design and optimization of a solar photovoltaic system for residential use. The study includes the selection of appropriate solar panels, inverters, and batteries to maximize the system's efficiency and output. Various factors such as geographical location, weather conditions, and energy requirements are taken into consideration during the design process. Furthermore, the research explores different mounting options for solar panels, including rooftop installation and ground-mounted systems. The pros and cons of each mounting method are evaluated to determine the most suitable option for residential applications. Additionally, the project investigates the integration of energy storage solutions such as batteries to store excess energy generated during peak sunlight hours for later use. A key aspect of this research is the utilization of advanced simulation software to model the solar photovoltaic system and analyze its performance under various conditions.
