Understanding and manipulating these interactions can offer promising strategies for improving nutrient use efficiency in agricultural systems. This project will explore the mechanisms underlying plant-microbe interactions, assess their impact on nutrient uptake and utilization by crops, and evaluate the potential for harnessing these interactions to enhance crop nutrient use efficiency.
