The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has revolutionized the way devices interact and communicate, leading to the development of intelligent systems aimed at enhancing convenience and efficiency in various domains. This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an Intelligent Home Automation System utilizing IoT technology to create a smart living environment for users. The system integrates various sensors, actuators, and communication protocols to enable remote monitoring and control of home appliances and devices. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key areas related to IoT technology, home automation systems, sensor networks, communication protocols, and existing solutions in the field.
