Thesis Abstract

<p> The project focuses on the optimization of wireless communication protocols for Internet of Things (IoT) devices to improve energy efficiency, reliability, and scalability in IoT deployments. The project will investigate the performance of existing wireless protocols, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and LoRa, in the context of IoT applications and identify opportunities for optimization. The goal is to develop novel techniques for protocol selection, data aggregation, and power management to minimize energy consumption, reduce latency, and enhance network coverage for IoT devices. The project will contribute to the advancement of IoT communication technologies and enable the seamless integration of a wide range of IoT devices in various domains, including smart homes, industrial automation, and environmental monitoring. <br></p>
