Abstract
The research focuses on exploring the impact of social media on mental health among college students. The study aims to investigate the relationship between social media use and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and social isolation. A mixed-methods approach will be employed to collect data through surveys and interviews. The survey will assess the frequency and duration of social media use, as well as the students' self-reported mental health status. Additionally, interviews will be conducted to gather more in-depth insights into how social media affects students' mental well-being. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing literature on the subject by providing a better understanding of the role of social media in shaping college students' mental health. This study will also offer valuable insights for mental health practitioners and educators to develop effective interventions and support systems to promote positive mental health outcomes among college students in the digital age.
