The study aims to investigate how effective co-operative management strategies can contribute to the sustainable development of rural communities, focusing on aspects such as economic growth, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability. The research begins with an exploration of the theoretical underpinnings of co-operatives and sustainable development, providing a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and their interplay. Through a thorough literature review, the study identifies key factors that influence the success of co-operative management strategies in promoting sustainable development in rural areas. This review highlights the importance of strong leadership, effective governance structures, and community participation in driving positive outcomes. The methodology chapter outlines the research design and approach adopted in this study.
