This thesis delves into the realm of cooperative economics and management to investigate the impact of digital technology on the efficiency and sustainability of cooperative businesses. With a focus on harnessing the benefits of digital tools and platforms, this study aims to provide valuable insights into how cooperatives can leverage technology to enhance their operations and long-term viability. Chapter One serves as the foundation of this thesis, laying out the Introduction, Background of Study, Problem Statement, Objectives of Study, Limitations of Study, Scope of Study, Significance of Study, Structure of the Thesis, and Definition of Terms. This chapter sets the stage for the subsequent chapters by establishing the context and rationale for the research. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive Literature Review that synthesizes existing knowledge on the intersection of digital technology and cooperative economics. Through an exploration of relevant academic works, industry reports, and case studies, this chapter aims to build a solid theoretical framework for understanding the subject matter.
