Agricultural cooperatives play a vital role in promoting sustainable development by fostering collaboration among farmers, enhancing market access, and improving livelihoods. This thesis aims to analyze the factors influencing the success of agricultural cooperatives in achieving sustainable development goals. The study will explore various aspects such as organizational structure, leadership, financial management, and external support that contribute to the effectiveness of agricultural cooperatives. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, combining both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two offers a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to agricultural cooperatives, sustainable development, success factors, and relevant theoretical frameworks. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations.
