Co-operative enterprises have long been recognized as instrumental in fostering economic development, particularly in rural communities where access to traditional financial and business resources may be limited. This thesis examines the impact of co-operative enterprises on economic development in rural communities, aiming to uncover the mechanisms through which these organizations contribute to local economic growth and sustainability. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative insights gathered through interviews and case studies.
