Thesis Abstract

Abstract
Urbanization and climate change have led to increased challenges in managing stormwater in urban areas. Traditional stormwater management systems are often inadequate and can lead to flooding, pollution, and other environmental issues. To address these challenges, this thesis proposes the design and analysis of a sustainable stormwater management system for urban areas. The research begins with a comprehensive review of existing literature on stormwater management, sustainable urban development, and related topics. This literature review provides a solid foundation for understanding the current state of stormwater management practices and the need for more sustainable solutions. The methodology chapter outlines the research approach, data collection methods, and analysis techniques used in this study. The research methodology includes site investigations, hydraulic modeling, and environmental impact assessments to evaluate the performance of the proposed stormwater management system. The findings chapter presents the results of the design and analysis of the sustainable stormwater management system.
