Title Implementation of Agile Project Management in Small Businesses for Increased Efficiency Abstract
Agile project management has gained significant attention in recent years due to its flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements. This thesis explores the implementation of Agile project management practices in small businesses to enhance operational efficiency. The study aims to investigate the challenges faced by small businesses in adopting Agile methodologies and the impact of Agile practices on project outcomes. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction providing background information on Agile project management and its relevance in the context of small businesses. The problem statement highlights the gap in existing literature regarding the implementation of Agile practices in small businesses and the need to address this issue. The objectives of the study are to identify the key challenges faced by small businesses in adopting Agile methodologies, assess the impact of Agile practices on project efficiency, and provide recommendations for successful implementation. The literature review chapter examines existing studies on Agile project management and its application in small businesses. Ten key themes are explored, including the principles of Agile methodologies, benefits and challenges of Agile implementation, and best practices for integrating Agile into small business operations.
