Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of technological innovation on supply chain management within the retail industry. In recent years, the retail sector has witnessed significant advancements in technology, leading to transformations in supply chain operations. This study aims to explore how these technological innovations have influenced various aspects of supply chain management practices in retail organizations. The research methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. The data was gathered through interviews with industry experts, surveys of retail managers, and analysis of secondary sources. The findings reveal that technological innovations such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and blockchain have disrupted traditional supply chain processes and enabled retailers to enhance efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness in their operations.
