Abstract
The dynamic nature of the retail industry necessitates a skilled workforce to ensure optimal organizational performance. This study aims to investigate the impact of employee training programs on organizational performance within the retail sector. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research explores the theoretical foundations surrounding training programs, organizational performance, and the relationship between the two in the context of the retail industry. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two delves into a detailed literature review, examining ten key aspects related to employee training programs and organizational performance in the retail industry. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. This chapter also discusses the limitations and challenges encountered during the research process. In Chapter Four, the findings of the study are presented and discussed in detail. The analysis focuses on the impact of employee training programs on various aspects of organizational performance, such as employee productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability within the retail sector. Finally, Chapter Five offers a conclusion and summary of the research findings.
