This thesis investigates the impact of technological innovation on supply chain management within the retail industry. The retail sector is undergoing a significant transformation due to advancements in technology, particularly in the areas of automation, data analytics, and e-commerce. This study aims to explore how these technological innovations are reshaping traditional supply chain practices and processes in retail organizations. The research begins with an examination of the current state of technology adoption in the retail industry and provides a comprehensive overview of supply chain management practices. By analyzing the background of the study, it becomes evident that technology is increasingly becoming a critical factor in enhancing supply chain efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness in retail operations. The problem statement highlights the challenges faced by retail organizations in adapting to technological changes and integrating them into their supply chain strategies. This study sets out to address these challenges by identifying the key objectives, including evaluating the impact of technological innovation on supply chain performance, identifying best practices for technology integration, and assessing the implications for organizational change management.
