Thesis Abstract

<p> This project focuses on the preservation of cultural heritage in the context of building conservation and adaptive reuse. Cultural heritage preservation encompasses the protection and promotion of historic buildings, sites, and traditions that hold significance for communities and societies. The research will explore the principles of cultural heritage preservation, its challenges and opportunities in contemporary building practices, and the integration of heritage conservation with sustainable development goals. The project will also investigate case studies of successful heritage preservation projects, as well as the economic, social, and environmental benefits of preserving cultural heritage in the built environment. <br></p>
