Thesis Abstract

<p> This project aims to explore the use of thermal insulation materials in building construction to improve energy efficiency and reduce heat transfer through building envelopes. The research will focus on identifying and evaluating various thermal insulation materials, such as fiberglass, cellulose, foam board, and reflective insulation. The study will also investigate the thermal performance of these materials in different climate zones and building assemblies. The findings will contribute to the development of guidelines for selecting and integrating thermal insulation materials into building design and construction, ultimately enhancing the overall thermal comfort and energy performance of structures. <br></p>
