Thesis Abstract

<p> This project aims to explore the use of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) in modern building construction. SIPs are prefabricated building panels that consist of an insulating foam core sandwiched between two structural facings, typically oriented strand board (OSB). The research will investigate the structural, thermal, and environmental performance of SIPs, as well as their design and construction considerations. Case studies of buildings constructed with SIPs will be analyzed to understand their energy efficiency, indoor comfort, and overall sustainability. <br></p>
