Abstract
This thesis investigates the impacts of various environmental factors on the growth and development of plants. The study aims to analyze how factors such as light, temperature, water availability, soil quality, and air composition influence the physiological processes and overall health of plants. Through a comprehensive literature review and empirical research, this thesis provides insights into the complex interactions between plants and their environment. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, and the structure of the thesis. The definitions of key terms related to plant growth and environmental factors are also outlined in this chapter. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review that examines existing studies on the effects of environmental factors on plant growth. Ten key aspects are discussed, including the role of light in photosynthesis, the influence of temperature on plant metabolism, the importance of water availability for plant hydration, the impact of soil quality on nutrient uptake, and the effects of air composition on plant respiration.
