Abstract
Climate change poses significant challenges to plant growth and development, impacting ecosystems and agricultural productivity worldwide. This thesis explores the effects of climate change on plant growth and development, with a focus on understanding the mechanisms underlying these impacts. The study investigates how changes in temperature, precipitation patterns, and CO2 concentrations influence plant physiological processes, such as photosynthesis, water uptake, and nutrient cycling. Through a comprehensive literature review, the research identifies key factors contributing to the vulnerability of plants to climate change and the potential adaptation strategies that can mitigate these effects. The methodology chapter outlines the research design and data collection methods employed to investigate the impact of climate change on plant species in diverse environments. Field experiments, laboratory analyses, and modeling approaches are utilized to assess plant responses to changing environmental conditions. The findings chapter presents a detailed analysis of the results, highlighting the physiological, biochemical, and morphological changes observed in plants exposed to climate change stressors.
