Abstract
Climate change poses a significant threat to global biodiversity, with potential impacts on ecosystems worldwide. In this study, we focused on understanding the effects of climate change on plant biodiversity within a tropical rainforest ecosystem. The research aimed to investigate how changing climatic conditions influence the distribution, composition, and abundance of plant species in a tropical rainforest setting. Chapter 1 provides a comprehensive introduction to the study, including the background of the research, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and key definitions. The introduction highlights the importance of studying plant biodiversity in the context of climate change and sets the stage for the subsequent chapters. Chapter 2 presents a detailed literature review encompassing ten key areas related to climate change impacts on plant biodiversity in tropical rainforests. The literature review synthesizes existing knowledge and provides a foundation for the research methodology and discussion of findings. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including study design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis approaches, and other relevant details. This chapter is crucial for understanding how data were collected and analyzed to address the research objectives. Chapter 4 delves into the discussion of findings, presenting and interpreting the results obtained from the study.
