Thesis Abstract

<p> This project aims to investigate the role of plant pigments in photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a vital process in plants, where light energy is converted into chemical energy through the action of pigments such as chlorophylls and carotenoids. However, the specific functions and interactions of these pigments in the photosynthetic process are not fully understood. This study will involve analyzing the absorption spectra of different plant pigments, measuring their concentrations in various plant tissues, and examining their roles in light harvesting and energy transfer. The findings will contribute to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying photosynthesis and may have implications for improving plant productivity and efficiency. <br></p>
