Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the effectiveness of online discussion forums in promoting collaborative learning in biology education. Online discussion forums provide a platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions, share ideas, and collaborate on biology-related topics. The study will explore how online discussion forums can enhance student learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, and scientific communication in biology. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, content analysis of forum discussions, and student performance assessments. The findings will provide insights into the benefits and challenges of using online discussion forums as a pedagogical tool in biology education.
