Thesis Abstract

<p> This research project aims to investigate the determinants of bank loan interest rates. Bank loan interest rates play a crucial role in determining the cost of borrowing for individuals and businesses. Understanding the factors that influence these rates is essential for policymakers, borrowers, and lenders. The study will examine both macroeconomic and bank-specific factors that affect loan interest rates, such as inflation, economic growth, monetary policy, bank capitalization, credit risk, and market competition. It will employ econometric techniques to analyze a comprehensive dataset of loan interest rates and relevant variables. The findings of this research will provide insights into the drivers of bank loan interest rates and contribute to the development of effective interest rate policies. <br></p>
