Thesis Abstract

<p> This research project aims to explore the role of Islamic banking in promoting ethical finance. Islamic banking operates based on the principles of Shariah law, which prohibits the charging or paying of interest and promotes risk-sharing and ethical investment practices. The study will examine the unique features of Islamic banking, including profit-sharing arrangements, asset-backed financing, and the avoidance of speculative activities. It will analyze the impact of Islamic banking on financial stability, economic development, and social welfare. The research will involve a comprehensive literature review, case studies of Islamic banks, and qualitative analysis to understand the ethical dimensions of Islamic finance. The findings will contribute to the understanding of Islamic banking as an alternative model for promoting ethical and sustainable finance. <br></p>
