Thesis Abstract

<p> This project aims to explore the role of art education in promoting cultural understanding and tolerance among students. In an increasingly diverse and interconnected world, it is crucial to foster empathy, respect, and appreciation for different cultures. Art education provides a unique platform for students to engage with diverse artistic expressions, traditions, and perspectives. Through a comprehensive literature review and qualitative research methods, this project will examine the specific strategies and approaches used in art education to promote cultural understanding and tolerance. The findings will contribute to the development of effective pedagogical practices that foster cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in art classrooms. <br></p>
