Thesis Abstract

                    ABSTRACT

The study was on the, “Evaluation of availability and Maintenance of Facilities in Tertiary Institutions in Kaduna State”. Six hypotheses were formulated and tested using Analysis of variance (ANOVA). The main findings of the study revealed that some of the facilities were inadequate, while some are not available at all; the ones available were not maintained and were only used occasionally. It was basically revealed that what was indicated as available by the respondents were mainly dilapidated structures and not maintained facilities. In view of the above it was recommended that Government should form committees for the renovation of structures and facilities in Tertiary Institutions in Kaduna State, government should increase funds in annual estimate and budgets separate from normal allocation.
