This thesis explores the application of sustainable design principles to develop affordable housing solutions that meet the needs of urban populations while minimizing the impact on the environment. The research begins with an introduction to the topic, providing background information on the current state of affordable housing in urban areas. The problem statement emphasizes the pressing need for sustainable design strategies to address the housing crisis in cities.
